Sutton Law Firm

Yikes, these last couple months have been an absolute whirlwind! Bless San Francisco and its Indian Summers, or this season would have zipped by without notice! I’m definitely playing catch up while catching my breath, so please excuse the lapse in posts! Earlier this year I had the opportunity to photograph the Sutton Law Firm, a local powerhouse specializing in political and election law. Such an intelligent and diverse group, it was a pleasure spending time around the office. See below for a sample of the shots that resulted…

YELP!

Great news! Bayley Photography’s Yelp page is now fully functional!

I invite all past clients, or admirers *wink wink*, to stop by and leave a review! Looking forward to getting some great feedback!

Hannah…

When the effervescent and incredibly talented local journalist Hannah Simon asked me to take her press photo, I jumped at the chance to shoot (and have lunch with!) such a darling gal. As the editor of Indie Shuffle, Hannah is the first to know about the indie music scene, working around the clock to keep fresh content going up on the site. And while we do share a common love of Burrata Mozzarella, if you check the date on this entry, you’ll see I’m not quite as on top of my content as she. I promise to do better, but big changes are afoot at Bayley Photography, so check back!

Alright, enough with the resolutions — now head over and check out the Indie Shuffle site, and get your groove on.

Sarah Swell

Just finished retouching photos from a jewelry fashion shoot I did with the incredibly creative Sarah Greenberg of Sarah Swell Jewelry. Our model, Priyanka Singha (priyankasingha@gmail.com), did a phenomenal job, despite the freezing cold winds off the bay. Sarah put a lot of hard work into this shoot and was an absolute pleasure to work with — check out her site and her blog to see where you can pick up some of her beautiful pieces.

Brian…

Did a fun set of headshots with San Francisco dancer and choreographer Brian Gibbs a week or so ago — wanted a grittier urban vibe, something kinda techie to demonstrate how he works. Had a good time shooting with him, singing along to Radiohead via Blackberry!

Erin & Erin

Several weeks ago I had the privilege to do an engagement shoot with the most adorable couple in the world (and their equally as adorable dogs!). With bopped around a couple East Bay parks, finding some lovely hidden spots and created some beautiful images, mostly due to girl-Erin’s boundless creativity and innovation. Congratulations to Erin & Erin on their upcoming wedding, we’re looking forward to it! Check back in November for photo booth images from the wedding reception!

Marie

Went out to the Sutro Baths last weekend with Marie Beunaiche, a fellow photographer from the East Bay, to shoot some portraits for her website. It’s always nice to work with another photographer and be able to talk shop. Check out the stunning landscapes she does for her website at www.luminousearth.com.

Marieke

Had a wonderful time shooting the lovely Marieke Cahill-Schwartz’s headshots a while back, in collaboration with Sarah Coy of Coy Makeup (coymakeup@gmail.com). And the final results…

Sarai

Had my first children’s photoshoot last week, which was reassuring because the girls were absolutely adorable and I think they liked me. By the end of the session they were singing Justin Bieber and Hannah Montana to me — I think I’m in. Definitely had a moment of mortality though when they asked if they could call me auntie (a term of respect for your elders, something I grew up with too in Singapore), and I didn’t realize I was old enough to be an auntie! Yikes. Big thanks to Olivia and her lovely daughters Sarai and Maci, it was a pleasure shooting with you!

Britta

Just finished editing some photos for Swedish actress Britta Forsberg, and had a lovely time shooting with her. It’s so easy to make beautiful photos of someone so strikingly gorgeous! So sad to see her go back to Stockholm — San Francisco is missing you!
